I had to work after the first quarter and purposely didn't check the score after. I went upstairs to grab a drink with 4 minutes left with us up and BYU driving. I quickly went back to work and 15 minutes later my son came down to tell me that we had held and ran out the clock. Now I'm just totally worthless.

Hopkins never looked better.

I’ve been really hard on Coach Clark and the team for most of the season, especially after the liberty game. However, this was finally the game we were waiting to see! This game showed the talent and potential that this team had. This season will still go down as a disappointment, but we ended on a hell of a high note.

Hats off to Coach Clark for having the team ready and going toe to toe with a top 15 team. Hats off to Coach Clark for going for it on fourth and one late in the game, as well. Maybe he changed his philosophy?

I know BYU isn’t SEC, but to me, this is the best win in UAB history!!!! BYU has name recognition Nationally, number 13 in the Nation, a truly convincing win on National TV!!! The Nation saw UAB tonight!!!!
