Tight Ends, Offensive Line, Strength/Conditioning?

There’s only one coaching change we need. Nothing else will fix this.
Resign? That would work for me
I don't believe Candle will resigned. He will be replaced by the new AD I believe after another season. Does the administration hired within again or go outside the university to get the new head coach ? I think they go outside and there will be a mass of players transferring out. There will be lean years of no winning football. Starting over maybe the new norm.

NIU shows there can be turn-over without long term problems. I'm hopeful.

No one has intimated that players are grumbling about the HC. Unless something off-the-field occurs, I think he's our coach until end of his contract This year probably wasn't good enough to be hired away even as a position coach.

If those players that can stay, do stay, I think well have a better year next year.

Nobody else at the DI level would hire him as a head coach. We may be stuck with each other next season, but unless he goes something like 10-2, he's out. When you hear him talk, there is no passion. I don't know how he could motivate players. MTSU was a bad team, but we were worse. Who knows exactly what the new AD will do, but most want their own people unless coaches are outstanding.

That seems a likelyscenario to me also. Hard to judge a person on their tv. He seems popular with the players. There have been no off the field incidents. Recruiting has been good. It's not out of the realm he gets hired to be an HC before his contract is over. It's not out of the realm he find an assistant level position at a higher level.

Unless he has lost the students/players, mostly I'm not going to angst over it. Hoping only that he learns and has an open mind to changes and improving his own game, on the field and with the fans (which I'm taking word for).
He needs to fire the offensive coordinator.
Maybe Savage will hire him to sell insurance.

Can you actually Fire your self?
Isn't our off coordinator or QB coach, Carter Bradley's former HS coach? See how that worked out for us.

Can Toledo appoint another coach to co-head coach? Perhaps this will force Candle to quit. ;-)

No, Coach Weiner is from Tampa, Carter from Jacksonville. A Big problem was OL. Too many sacks allowed, tackles for loss allowed, too many penalties, etc

No time to throw or look for secondary receivers!

And we only have one OLine commitment in this class. Let’s hope we get a couple transfers

Technically, Weiner and Hallet are co-offensive coordinators, but this is Candle's offense. It hasn;t changed in years and even crappy teams that scout us well can shut us down.

I think Kulgowski is assistant head coach. There were some of our posters who wanted him to get the head coach job instead of Candle. I wasn't sure who the candidates were but I was of the opinion that if you can't find someone with head coaching experience at div 1 level, we should at least hire an assistant coach that was a part of a championship program and hopefully at a P5 program.

That's right! Plus our RB's getting stuffed in the backfield
