I took the Trojans -11. What is up with the crowd? I thought stAte was the owner of the craptastic crowd crown . . .

Okay, in Troy, with men's basketball we're just happy to get Ws.

A big reason the "crowds" are craptastic is because Troy men's basketball has stunk on ice for years and this is the first season where Coach Cross's plan is starting to take. In other words, people stopped showing up to watch the basketball team lose, and until they prove they can win consistently the crowds are going to be sparse.

Pretty accurate.

Students and fans want a reason to show up first. Too many years of showing up and leaving disappointed.

It will come.

Troy has been 2nd in the conference to only App State in football attendance and this is with a 3rd 5-7 season. The support is there. Just need a good season and they will show up in the arena as well.

Women's basketball has usually been #1 or #2 in attendance over the years. That's simply from winning.

The men's program can do the same thing if they win.
