He’s just speaking for the entire SHSU fanbase when he says they don’t want to play FBS and aren’t happy about the move. It’s time to free him.

I tried to explain to them why SHSU fans aren't excited about playing the meaningless exhibition games that are G5 football in some flyover league and why the students voted down the FBS fees, then they started talking about stuff like "investment" and "brand awareness". When I further explained, I was banned. Soft!

Glad we are moving and glad Sam is with us. Students and you may not be in favor but Sam understands winning and will be competitive in due time.
Hope some increase media will draw in a few more fans for us both.

There is NO "Western Tennessee State" although the University of Memphis used to be called "West Tennessee State" We are Middle Tennessee and the man for whom your institution is named Sam Houston had his first law office on the square in Lebanon, Tennessee just a few miles from our campus. The only reason he went to Texas because he failed in his non-political ventures here. You may not want to be in our conference but if it wasn't for our ancestors saving your ancestors from the folks south of the border; you'd be attending college in a foreign country. I personally look forward to kicking your !@#$

The answer to both would be No. The only job he has came close to getting was USM (turned out great). Bill has put his name is several pots.
Personally, several schools have missed the boat not hiring him. Bill, if given the chance, would improve a lot of P5 schools.
