Any rivalry! We need to come up with names for all these rivalries !

Okay I’ll start

Louisiana and Southern Miss - Battle of the I-10 corridor

Louisiana and South Alabama- Battle of the BamaAna trophy

Louisiana and Texas State- Battle between TexasAna Trolhy?

Louisiana and Arkansas St- Battle for the Kaplan Reebok ( Rubber boots )

Louisiana and ULM- Battle for Louisiana ( even though we won this battle )

Louisiana and Troy - Trojan Horse Trophy!

I feel like CCU rivalries are more App St and GS

Troy vs South Alabama = "Battle For The Belt" and there is a WWE style belt the winner gets after the game.

I see A-State, Louisiana, and ULM as rivals just due to being Sun Belt opponents for almost 20 years.

I feel like I can see CCU and JMU being big rivals I just get that feeling

Obviously we already have something for Troy... but I'm spitballing on the others.

South Alabama and Troy - Battle for the Belt
South Alabama and USM - Lots of Hate down (Hwy.) 98
South Alabama and Texas State - The Anything Can Happen Game
South Alabama and Louisiana - This is more appropriately Battle of I-10 as it touches us both and not Hattiesburg
South Alabama and ULM - The ULMost Bowl (hey Warhawks, we can relate with that sentiment!)
South Alabama and Arkansas State - The Red, Black, and Blue Game

Southern Miss and South Alabama - The Shrimp Bowl, The Jubilee Bowl, or the Battle for 98, Third Coast/Forgotten Coast Rivalry
Southern Miss and Troy - ADs or Director's Cup (since we have such a tie at the AD level)
Southern Miss and Texas State - Teacher's College Cup (both started as Normal Schools)
Southern Miss and Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns - Battle for the Gumbo Pot, Battle for the Oar, or Condiment Clash --> Must wear all red vs all gold
Southern Miss and ULM - EagleHawk Trophy
Southern Miss and Arkansas State - The Dime on 49
Southern Miss and App State - Ragnarock (Battle for the Rock) have the trophy be Thor's Hammer

CCU will see a rivalry develop with everyone in the Sun Belt at the rate things are going. Though some rivalries are built on mutual respect, I feel that element is missing right now.

What in the Vermilion Parish? Kaplan Reeboks? Everyone calls them Delcambre Reeboks beb.

Okay I thought of some names for some games.

1. Troy vs South = Battle For The Belt
2. Troy vs Southern Miss = Jones-McClain Director's Cup or Director's Cup for short (SouthernMissSNu nailed it on this one)
3. Troy vs Arkansas State = Rivalry of Champions (since we both lead the conference for titles
4. Troy vs Louisiana = Mighty Southern Showdown
5. Troy vs ULM = War on the Gridiron
6. Troy vs Georgia State = Rivalry of I-85
7. Troy vs Georgia Southern = Battle of the Blackboard (History with us both being teacher colleges back in the day)

App and Georgia Southern should play for a giant water jug
