big week for the league
UC hasn't won at Xavier since 2002, which is pretty remarkable. Doubt that streak ends this year but just hoping we have a chance at the end. Our lack of size on the wing is going to put us in a bad spot against Scruggs, Johnson and Jones.
so many big games this week

cincy vs xavier--a cincy wins likely puts them in a comfortably seat to make the tourney entering conference play
smu and memphis are in absolute mus win games to keep their NIT/ncaa chances alive
the difference between a 1/2 seed and a 4/5 seed for houston is on saturday
tulsa, temple and tulane have major net impact games (negatively if they lose) that are very losable
Ludgy is going to miss this game for ECU... his mom died. Sad stuff.

I think we ought to be able to handle A&T without him. I hope.
Temple with a pair of interesting games vs St. Joesph's and Vanderbilt. SMU, Cincinnati, and Houston have the most interesting games. Houston and Cincinnati can afford to lose their games. SMU and all the others are pretty much must win games for the league.
Whenever I want to feel better about UC’s (lack of) offenseI turn in Virginia. 14 points at the half against James Madison. They’ll still win but yikes…
ECU coasts to a 7th consecutive home win with a victory over NCA&T, 82-71 (covering the -10.5 pt spread). Not great competition, nevertheless the Pirates' best streak since the early 90s.

Is the Liberty game a home game? That should be a good test.

Neutral in Charlotte.
Man, I really over booked my self this weekend. I bought Floor seats to Chris Stapleton in Nashville... He is playing 2 nights in a row so I should have picked Friday instead of Saturday as Im going to be missing the UC game and the Poirier Title Fight.

Its okay though. I have a hard time seeing UC win that game and I'd just rather not watch them lose it.

We were up 18 with a minute and a half left, and A&T cut it to 10 after assaulting our bench. They busted Mosher's lip and they didn't even call a foul. The refs for the last month have been something special.

Actually they didn't. JMU won.
damien dunn with the clutch gene...

temple is making free throws away from winning
Wow. Tulsa lots and lots and lots of empty seats. They are down by 9 with about 11 minutes left at home against LMU.

wouldn't at all be surprised if Stackhouse and Dunn are related both being from Kinston NC, they certainly know each other.
