SEC Championship Game had another monster TV Rating while even a blowout win in the Big Ten Championship Game drew big numbers too. Big 12 Championship Game that did not include OU or Texas drew a "surprisingly" large number at 8 Million plus viewers while the 2 of the 3 teams leaving the AAC for the Big 12 (Houston/Cincinnati) drew 3.5 Milloin viewers (going head-to-head vs the SEC) and even beat ACC Championship Game which was in primetime.

also, the 'merican game went head to head with the SEC game - the others had a tv
window to themselves
(over 3 million, not 4, though).

AAC CCG numbers have always been "P6" - hanging with the PAC12, ACC, and sometimes B12.
Beating the ACC with the playoff buzz is great.
So the AAC,MWC and MAC championships all outdrew the SBC?
I guess Kirk Herbstreit was right when he said Wake Forest only had six fans.
AAC shared the same timeslot as SEC and still beat out the ACC.

P6!
Is CUSA Championship not on tv anymore?

I believe it streamed live on Twitch and MySpace.

CBS Sports Network, which opts out of the Nielsen ratings schema.

Well, actually....

ACC was up against Big10
Big12 was up against MAC
PAC12 was up against CUSA on CBSSN on Friday night
SunBelt and mwc were in the same timeslot as AAC and SEC.
Wow, miserable rating for the ACC. I really wish the AAC game wasn't up against the SEC game but hey, at least we still outdrew the ACC...woof. So much for the P4 lol
Would like to see how well it would have drew if it had its own time slot.

Good rating for the AAC title game, especially in the teeth of the SEC juggernaut.

P6!

THIS! And if the PAC12 had not had a prime time slot without any real competition, there is no doubt that the AAC would have beaten them too.

P6!

The 2017 Champ Game was at Noon on ABC and drew 3.4 Million viewers as it went head to head vs Big 12 Champ Game on FOX (OU vs TCU) which had 5.9 Million viewers and also head to head vs MAC Champ Game on ESPN (655,000 viewers) and also CUSA Champ Game on ESPN2 (255,000 viewers).

Busy slot.
What I see, is in a virtual head to head competition the MW also on a national OTA network got pummeled by the AAC. There is really no debate at this point.
Makes me sad three of us had to jump to Big12. Think what we would have had adding BYU, WVU and Boise, just too bad..

Just add BYU. It's a dumb move unless the revenue is outrageous but it appears they will get a Rutgers CUSA6 type deal till the new contract. That new contract value is really up in the air too. Could be a nice pay off, maybe.
