Not even a few hours postgame today… makes you wonder if he does go how many of the UIW key players go into the portal and/or follow him

Eric Morris is a distant disciple of The Godfather of the Air Raid Offense (and Tarleton guy) Hal Mumme coaching tree, and those guys tend to get scooped up quickly. In fact, Ol' Hal's fingerprints were all over the UIW game today (60-plus passes for 500+ yards), which goes to show, if run correctly, the Air Raid is still virtually unstoppable. I'd like to see ACU hire a Hal Mumme guy and help turn the WAC into a Wild, Wild West shootout league.

The last time that we were a wild west shootout team, we couldn't win playoff games. I would rather be more physical.
Morris was at WSU when Leach was there, so this seems to be a natural fit for both parties.
UIW football loses 32 seniors off of that team, Cameron Ward is probably getting some FBS love, so yeah maybe he doesn't want to go through the rebuilding process at UIW.

Cash out now while your stock is high and use Washington State to spring board you to a FBS head coaching job.
This is a big blow to UIW.

And also probably to the WAC as well.

I'm not sure UIW catches lightning in a bottle again soon without him. Could be a return to the mean for their football program.

They're still better than SFA.
A new guy
