I think we need to improve our talent level.
I can't say I'm surprised at our lack of selections but man that was tough to read through.
ULL only had three 1st teamers, I'm thinking some of them got robbed. They did have eight on the 2nd team though.

Only nine 1st teamers on offense and defense weren't on App or CCU. I also find that hard to believe.
Not long ago we had a boatload of guys on these list. We need to get back to that caliber of players. It does explain 2-10.

Actually it was four. Two on OL, Punter and All Purpose

Wow...we don't have a chance!

But...more motivation Eric.
Nick Hampton....3rd Team?

He is quite literally the best pass rusher in the Sun Belt.
Wow, Did not realize our defense was so bad!!

Dang, 4 first teamers? None on defense? CBN, please, I beg of you, don't use that as motivation Saturday.

These teams continue to be a joke. The people who vote do so on the beauty numbers and fail to look at the actual player and deeper in.

Very telling for GS as well. You really don't want your PUNTER to make All CONFERENCE. Yet GS people that think we don't have a talent issue and Lunsford's recruiting was fine lol.

Troy's Javon Solomon was better. He has more sacks and tackles for loss all while splitting time almost 50/50 with another DE in Richard Jibunor who's number are nearly as good. That position was NASTY for Troy this year.

Yeah man, if you have a good punter it's totally a sign you punt too much.

In GS case, it pretty clearly is.

He punted 64 times.

Nick Hampton is an OLB who also plays coverage quite a bit. His numbers aren't exclusively related to being a pass rusher. Haven't looked at his numbers but I know he effects almost every passing play an opponent has. Key in on 31 if you're watching Saturday.

A name that comes to mind is Brian Burns, except the Panthers play a 4-3, but their make-up is similar.
