If I wanted to tailgate on campus before the game on Saturday and watch the game at a sports bar, what would you recommend?

Do they have tailgating locations near the stadium still.

I wouldn't mind stopping in Mecklenberg Gardens at some point also but i'm not even sure I recall seeing a television in there.

So what would a good bar to watch the game be that's close to campus?

Martino's on Short Vine. Get there EARLY for tailgating in the parking lot behind it.

If you plan to bring all your own stuff, i.e. coolers, tables, food, grill, etc then Martino's on Short Vine is the best place where you don't have to have a prepaid spot. If you are planning on just walking up and wanting some food, drinks, and entertainment then The Grid on campus is the best spot.

I think the Basketball arena is open also for Tailgating.
