It would be a mistake by both parties

When you’re 20-5 with 2 bowl wins you’re going to get noticed. On the other hand, he only has 2 years experience as a head coach.

It's $3 million through the end of December, then drops to $1.5 million. It was $5 million in 2020.

Come on App, say it ain't so. We just lost our guy to Florida. Can't go losing your guy to friggin Duke!

Why owe App $3 million to go to Duke. Wait one more year and WVU might be open and the buyout is $1.5 then.

Unless Clark is looking for any increase in pay I think this move would be unlikely

Next year is a significant rebuild year and OC Ponce is a contender at FIU. His stock is will likely not be as high this time next year. But both Duke and FIU should look at someone with rebuild experience.

It was just a question, good Lord. Just trying to gauge the pay difference. Sensitive bunch. Probably gets him a pay raise. Also, App being favored over Duke is why they are looking for a new coach. Same reason we got a new one lol.

Contract extension is probably being worked on. Second year of a 5 year contract. Probably extend 2 more years a with more assistant coach money and restructured buy out.

I will give Coach Clark for having more sense than leaving APP State for Dook.
