Epic victory for Alabama on the road. Gut-wrenching loss for Auburn.

The over/under was 57, and even after 4OT, they didn’t even come close (46).

Does Michigan leap-frog over Bama in the rankings?

...probably... I'd go

UGA
Michigan
UAT
UC

...but an awesome effort by an Auburn team running on fumes... there is something about Saban in Jordan-Hare which gets him uncharacteristically flustered... he's now 4-4 there, but probably his least favorite locale to visit...
Auburn wins if the RB doesn’t run out of bounds

He didn't try to get on the ground until it was too late and was practically dragged out of bounds.

It was only epic in that they didn't lose. It wasn't an epic victory, but rather a dodged bullet. If AU's dip**** OC Mike Bobo had simply run the football following Alabama failed 4th down conversion at their own 42 with 10 minutes to play and Auburn up by 10 they never get the time or chance to win. 3 runs, even for no gain, and a punt, leave them tops 7 minutes and 80 yards to go trailing 10-0. Intead the moron calls an intermediate pass into coverage on 1st down with a gimpy QB who has no touch. Alabama gets the pick, drives for 3, flips the field position, and has time to tie, and eventually win. The winners on the night was the Auburn D who played their butts off. And as usual the offense was a liability save for Bigsby.

That said, the offense didn't create a loss, Bobo did. He had the ability to manage a clock responsibly and failed miserably again!
He did that to us at Georgia too!!! That's why I'm glad he's gone. Although, I kinda wonder if E$PN had something to do with that Iron Bowl loss. At least though now they are forced to see that 'Bama isn't the 'Bama of old, as much as they don't like that. Get ready to see some more E$PN talking heads leave.

Thank goodness he took that job at Auburn and left, I think our current OC needs to go too but I have confidence South Carolina wouldn't be going to a bowl this year if Bobo had stayed as OC.
