#18 NU opens a home-and-home tonight at RPI.

The game started at 7pm and can be seen on rpitv.
NU leaves Troy. NY with the 2-1 win over Rensselear Polytechnical Institute. The win is NU's fifth one-goal victory of the season and marks just the third time since 2000 that the Huskies have won 10 of their first 15 games (10-4-1).

NU got goals from Aidan McDonough and Jakov Novak, along with 25 saves from Devon Levi. McDonough's goal moved him into a tie for first in the NCAA with 12 goals this season. He has four goals in his last three games.

The two teams will meet in the backend of the home-and-home on Sunday afternoon at Matthews Arena. Puck drop is 3 p.m. on NESN.

#18 NU comes away with the weekend sweep after beating RPI 2-1 at Matthews Arena.

NU was down 1-0 in the 3rd when Aiden McDonough scored his 13th goal of the season tp tie it and freshman Matt Choupani scored the game-winner with less than 5 minutes left.

The Huskies (11-4-1) improve to 8-1-1 in its last 10 games and earned their sixth one-goal victory of the season.

The Huskies return to Hockey East play this weekend for a home-and-home set with Providence, beginning on Friday night at Schneider Arena at 7 p.m.
