It's feast week. 1st game of the week is in 3 OT in the Gulf Coast Showcase with Evansville and Rice.
TAMU taking it to Wisconsin early in the 1st round of the Maui. Worst start the Big 10 has had in several years.
Wisconsin bounced by with a big run. Tied up at 33-33.

This might be one of those years where the collective skins are enough to prop up the conference even if there’s only one or two powerhouses and a bunch of filler.

I wouldn’t judge them yet, though. If there is parity within the conference, they can still jam up the field because of the work they do on each other.
In women's basketball, we had a battle of #1 vs. #2. South Carolina won going away beating UConn and one of my inappropriate crushes young enough to be my daughter Paige Bueckers. Who schedules these things for noon on a Monday afternoon?

I mean the league will certainly still produce 6+ bids but I wouldn't expect as many bids as last year nor as high of seeding. Frankly none of the major leagues have looked that dominant. I think the leagues look pretty balanced so far.
Wisconsin on a 41-12 run. They've really put the clamps down on A&M.

Rice wins 109-104 in 3OT to improve to 4-1 on the young season.
Wisconsin wins 69-58

Rutgers has been ugly this year. That showing against Merrimack was awful. These guys may be the ones to casually watch metrically. Probably one of the worst P6 teams this year…but where does that land them in NET as the season wears on and all of that. I mean, I know we’re not there yet, but these are the kinds of teams where I get infuriated with the metrics, because the conference schedule hides just how potentially bad they may be.

Not every women's basketball player is a lesbian. She seemed pretty buddy buddy with Gonzaga's Jalen Suggs as they were both from the state of Minnesota growing up.
