Umm that video was from 2015… a quick Wikipedia search shows his last pro team was in the G league in 2016/2017 but he was arrested for drug charges that same year. Apparently it was a pretty serious charge but I’m not sure what happened after. Calkins wrote an article about Joe trying to change his life a few years ago. It’s behind a paywall.

Therefore, I’m not sure he’s getting paid as you think?

Anyone have any updates on this young man’s life?

Mayne was buying guns for his felonious friends.

Never cared for the guy. Good player, though.

He was on J&J a couple of years ago, begging Tigers fans for a chance at a job.
Rumor is, he was offered a couple but they required him to show up and work.
So he passed on them.
