IF Western beats Marshall, and UTSA and Western meet in the championship game, will CUSA shaft UTSA and let Western host since they aren't leaving the conference? ... Even though UTSA will have the better record.

Doubt it. I suppose remaining members could vote for it, IDK.

Question would be what’s worth more, home field or the locker room material?

Absolutely not. Texas benefits > What benefits C-USA proper.
Always has. Always will.

Besides, they will have the tiebreaker in every scenario... but then again C-USA has twice changed the rules after the season was over.

I could see CUSA and the remaining members saying they don't want a leaving member hosting one their events though... just thought it would be an interesting senario.

Don’t hold your breath.
The only way you don’t host is if your stadium explodes the week before the game. There’s no hosting scenario you don’t have even if you lose your last game.

With that said, the East champ will win the game.

Don’t hold your breath.

You are the underdog in this matchup.

You are the team who has to face phenom Rasheen Ali.

You are the team has to go against the #1 ranked scoring Defense in Conference USA on the road.

A lot more pointing to a Marshall win than a Western one my Topps friends.
UTSA host, they earned it on the field, and I would rather Western beat them in their house

Oh, no! the #1 defense!....

where have we heard that twice before wasnt it 2014 and 2015? Western put 67 and 49 points on those "#1 defenses". Could have been 67 if Brohn hadnt called the dogs off. UNCC had open receivers all day long and Zappe wont over throw them

Right, because he'll have a Marshall defender in his face all day.

Western needs to execute their passing game like they did against FAU to stand a chance.
Every Marshall loss this year was in close fashion. They never got blown out.

UAB out coached us. It's possible Western can pull another 67-66 out of their butt. They have the firepower.

But the Marshall D has played well this year, so I feel pretty good about next Saturday. I'll be there with my father in law!

If it's Marshall v. UTSA, CUSA will opt for a neutral site playing @ FIU. 03-lmfao

It will somehow find its way in Frisco, TX.

Western hasn't scored less then 31 in any game this season... Everytime Marshall has given up 31 or more, they have lost this season.

Marshall has only faced 2 hafway decent offensive teams...

they both put over 30 points on the scoreboard.

BTW Western already played the #1 CUSA defense in UTSA and hung 46 and what should have been 53 points on them

Last time I checked UTSA was giving up 19ppg to Marshall's 19.2

Western's passing game has executed the same way all season and just like every other team Western played...Marshall wont get close to Zappe very often

Check again. Marshall is the #1 scoring D in the conference.

Marshall 18.5
UTSA 20 9

And we are at home, averaging 17.2
Well, whatever happens, it'll be an interesting matchup. Zappe gets rid of the ball so quickly that it will be difficult to get any sacks. We just have to hope to hurry him and force decisions. I hope I'm wrong and we plow through the WKU OL, but I am dubious of that. Our secondary is going to have to have a really great game.

Using their shoulder pads
CUSA announced right after the game, on Facebook, that the game will be in the Alamodome.
