Maybe someone can help me, but why do the vast majority of our recruits this year have no offers besides us? Maybe Rivals just hasn’t updated, but if no one else is offering, that tells me we aren’t recruiting D1 talent. And in my opinion, we have way too many MS players. There just aren’t that many D1 athletes each year in MS.
I know a few of the recruits are being kept hidden. Also we are second in CUSA recruiting last time I looked.
I think a lot of the ones announced so far are non-scholarship guys. I think we have a bunch others not announced yet. Hall said we’re getting 30 or so this window. I’m expecting transfer heavy O/D Line.
I actually just went through our recruits. Many have multiple offers from other schools. Many have offers from schools in the top 25. So I'm not sure what you mean by they have no offers.
This will be the best class we have had in years.

Just what I saw on Rivals.

Miss'sippi axe-ually is near the top in Div I prospects PER CAPITA....which is why so many SEC schools besides OP and MSUcks come in and hijack the top 40. When we were taking non-qualifiers, when our stadium was basically equal to OP and Moo U's, and we were on ABC and ESPN practically every week, we could compete----that's all changed, which would take a 250,000 word post to 'splain. 04-cheers
MS also had a small population, so per capita doesn’t mean we produce fifty D1 prospects per year.

Actually, it probably does most years after some of them spend a year or two developing (or getting grades in order) while they play juco ball.
