I will only miss UAB, Marshall and maybe ODU in basketball. Otherwise, CUSA lost some weight for the better. Stronger hoops from top to bottom.
Win or lose, UNT is going to take a major hit tonight playing Texas-Arlington who is currently ranked 281.

Nope.
One good thing about KenPom is it doesn’t penalize for SoS. It simply evaluates your performance relative to expectations.
UNT beat UTA by more than expected, and moves up 16 spots to 118.

Can't accept how low Middle Tennessee has fallen in the national rankings in MBB. The Raiders have gone from Giant Killers and one of the Best MBB programs in CUSA to one of the absolute worst. Losing Kermit Davis to Ole Miss eviscerated our program.
If McDevitt doesn't turn it around this year (very unlikely) Massaro has to send him packin'.

Having been through it before, it's painful. Just got to hope you don't make back-to-back mediocre hires, because that's what takes years to climb out of. I really thought McDevitt was a good hire when MT picked him up, too.

UTEP is going through this as well. Hope Joe Golding is our man. CUSA will be fantastic in basketball regardless down the road but if UTEP returns to glory...

Ain't that the truth. I don't think you had enough towels to soak up the blood on the court. It was harsh. I hope for cusa's future you don't start playing like we have the past few years with our terrible coaching.
Right now I'm optimistic this new coach Golding will bring us back from the dead. The defense is as good as any Coach Haskins had when he was around. The offense though with a couple of exceptions is terrible yet. But...we'll get there, if not this year the next.
