The Dukes (9-1) close out the regular season with Towson (4-6) on Saturday. Hoping for a complete game from the Dukes and we win 52-0.

High of 46 at kickoff. Bundle up/Bourbon up!

That one point loss to Nova still stings.
Will be there with the wife, both daughters (JMU alums) and their husbands ROOTIN!!

Brian
ugh.... so cold.
Townson Toothless Tigers

I predict we win 62-7 with Ratke picking up 14 points putting him within striking distance of Westbrook.
Quitting gets easier each time, maybe it will be too cold for them and they'll forfeit.
Who decided to put Towson on rival weekend all these years? They were never, ever a rival. We had some good games for a while, but not once did I ever consider them a rival.

Sunny and no rain, could be a bit warmer but it is mid November. Again, no rain!!

Go Dukes!!

Yeah... I know. I've just turned into a such a cold wimp since moving down to Richmond haha. Anything below 50 and I'm ready to go back inside now.
The kickoff temperature isn't so bad, but the temperature closer to the completion of the game will be significantly lower. Still looking to be dry which is nice. Going to have to break out some gear I wasn't planning on just yet.

For the record, before this soft stuff gets legs. I will be there with my layers. 04-cheers
46 and sunny when the humidity is 20% is pretty comfortable, actually. A fall night in the Valley will feel quite a bit different.

Thank you - one of the top 3 reasons I'm looking forward to being FBS.... First of all, Nov 20 (or the equivalent) is not even rivalry weekend, suppose for FCS it is.

2019 was Rhody
2018 was Towson
2017 was Elon
2016 was Elon
2015 was Villanova
2014 was Elon
2013 was Towson
2012 was ODU

Hurry up and get me to FBS where we can ink in every thanksgiving weekend with ODU.
NDSU ran up a 35-0 lead before letting in a garbage time TD. JMU needs to do the same if they want a top 4 seed. A head to head loss against Nova and a disappointing showing against the only common opponent with NDSU will be the committee's reasoning for keeping JMU out of top 4. Ratke being MVP again isn't going to cut it.
From today's O'Neill's press conference Cignetti said that Towson's RB who's a transfer from GA Tech is the best RB we will have faced this season. Unfortunately I take that as typical weekly coachspeak.

Like others have said since we're not in the "making friends" business at this point with other CAA Programs/HCs we need to blow Rob Ambrose's Tigers out this weekend. No hard feelings. It's just something that needs to be done or we'll be on the road potentially for our quarterfinal matchup potentially with Villanova or Eastern Washington.

The JMU - Towson Rivalry is the best the CAA has to offer. 03-lmfao

I think he wanted to against Campbell which is why he was taking timeouts at the end of the game and still trying to score. IMO he wanted to at WM as well but it backfired a bit in the 3rd quarter when we were running nowhere, then passing but not converting and then punting with little time off the clock only to have them gash us with a couple huge runs and close the gap on the scoreboard.
Former JMU RB Jawon Hamilton with 179 yards on 19 carries for Eastern Michigan tonight against Western Michigan. His best game since he transferred to the other EMU. It sure would be nice to have him right now back in our RB Room.
Will be my first attended JMU game in more than a year and a half... excited (although honestly more excited for the Mason game Friday night)!
