I was curious about the guys who left last year and how they were doing.

Joe Pridgen - On the roster but hasn't played in a game.
Imaje Dodd - On the roster but hasn't played a game.
Jake Boggs- Appears to be a starter. In two official games averaged 22 min game, 5.5 ppg., 3 rpg, .167 from three, .417 fg%.

Only thing surprising here is Pridgen. Sometimes these kids get burned thinking the grass is greener.

Imajae could be a beast but something always seemed missing. Siddle obviously wasn’t a fan in practice.

Boggs will likely come around on the 3p %.
Only thing that would explain Joe P is he's hurt or something. He's to good not to play, especially on an 0-2 team. I saw 82 you sent a message on their board interested to see if anyone chimes in. In searching the "news" all the articles coach speaks highly of him. Can't imagine anything but injury. It was a 2 game road trip, maybe he didn't make the trip. They open at home Tuesday.

Have to wonder what the deal is with Dodd, looks like they played about their entire roster in their first game blowout.
It seems the hold up for Pridgen is related to transfer paperwork.

Since that was his second transfer, it wasn’t automatic that he’d be eligible immediately.

Dodd was injured and had some type of surgery-he will play there when healthy . Also was told he considered going back to play football-was a tight end in HS .

That's interesting. Remember when Marcus Bryan got a tryout with the Green Bay Packers?
Also, looks like Ian Steere no is playing for a team in the Czech Republic.
Chowan lost to Fayetteville State 80-57, but Jay Estime had 22 points in 26 minutes. 4-6 from three, 7-11 overall and 4-5 from the FT line. Four TO's and four fouls.
Per the Northeastern board, Pridgen was denied his transfer waiver and will have to sit the season out. He still has three years of eligibility.

WOW! That's a kick in the Nads to him and NU. I thought after last year kids were basically free to move about as they please given the circumstances? Typical NCAA

Typical NCAA...that being said, I think his "free" move was from Holy Cross to UNCW.
Marcus Elliott who committed to us when CB was coach is also on the Chowan roster but does not appear in last nights box score

Meh. Sucks to be him this year.

Glad we don't have to worry about him next year. He'll end up being a 29 year old senior at NU though. lol

His grandchildren should really enjoy his Senior Night.
Jake Boggs has struggled on a USF team that is 5-9. He's been on and off as a starter, but isn't playing more than 20 minutes a game and is usually in the 9-11 minutes per game range recently.

5.1 ppg., 3.1 rebounds, 34.6% from the field and 31.7% from three

Jay Estime is averaging 13.7 ppg at Chowan. 44.1% from the field, 40.7% from three, playing about 28 minutes per game. Chowan is 2-10 on the season with former assistant Rob Burke at the helm

I really liked Boggs as a player. Wish he hadn't left. Part of the problem that coaches have to come to grips with is that we are in an era that almost amounts to player free-agency.

Right or wrong, most players are not going to sacrifice a year or two out of their four year career playing a role/position that they don't feel is in their best interest just because the coach wants them to - especially on a losing team.
