Just wanted to say I go way back to coach bartow and the battles our schools had and I wanted to congratulate you guys on your move to the AAC. You guys did very well coming back from that disaster. You guys did not deserve that at all. I hope you guys dominate and I will be watching because I will miss seeing the blazers and hopefully our paths will cross again. Cheers
Thanks! I remember some great basketball games between UAB and ODU. I especially remember Ahmad Caver and BJ Stith. They were great players.

Good luck to your school as you head to the Sun Belt.

There was a time when I really freakin' hated Chris Gatling. Great player though.

Good luck to the Monarchs.
Unfortunate that UAB didn't get a chance to play in Hampton Roads. I was planning to make that game (was an easy trip at the time) before COVID. ODU has a lot of upside to it and we will be following your football with much curiosity.
I’ll miss ODU. Lots of memories with the Monarchs.
Wish we had ODU and WKU coming instead of FAU and North Texas
I had hoped ODU would be among the teams coming with UAB to the AAC. Bad timing for football to slide. UAB fans know how that feels, but good for ODU getting into the Belt with a very good eastern division setup.

Yeah, Gatling was trouble for us
Gatling was a BEAST.

I think ODU will do very well in the Sun Belt. There's a solid fan base, great recruiting territory and some good basketball history.

I hope UAB and ODU can continue to meet up on the hardwood from time to time.
I'm looking forward to coming down to Norfolk form the DC area for the basketball game this winter. It's always a nice trip for me and I've always been treated with class by the ODU fans. I, too, was hoping that ODU (and Marshall) would be joining us on the AAC move.
