ESPN seems full. Re-up with Facebook or stadium? Other? The package will obviously drop, so what is the feel for new future?
do you really care or are you being an ass?
Southern Miss was terrible in basketball and football. CUSA cut dead weight.
I think someone mentioned the options are:
CBS
FOX
Sinclair / Bally Sports / Stadium

NBC is canceling their sports network so I don’t think they are an option.
Bally Sports and Stadium are an intriguing option.

A little touchy. You know we’re still here for another year and a half. That is a reasonable question, isn’t it?
I don't really care for the payout per team. I'm not expecting much or anything. If would could get on DAZN or something like that I would be happy.

CUSA did not cut anything but ties with espn. I’m just curious as to what the next deal will bring and what network. I wanted Liberty in before now. Now that you’re invited, I see why no other conference wanted the attitude. Sustained greatness is not easy. Go through one coaching move then thump your chest, newbie. Calm down and enjoy having conference mates. Not everybody is an enemy.

C-USA? You mean the TV deal school presidents VOTED to reject, including the school you root for, right? Do you realize these decisions are made by presidents and not by the commissioner, right?

So if you want to blame anybody, look in the mirror.

That would require people here to know what Judy's actual job is
Bad question. But I'll give my opinion. Answer-- a PITIFUL one.
Go all in with ESPN3/+ and get a few games elevated when needed or an intriguing match up comes along.
You all realize CUSA is in the situation they are in is because of RC Johnson, the Memphis AD at the time. It was him that started the ball rolling to get away from ESPN, he was hell bent on screwing the mouse house. All he done was screw the conference and the schools in it.

For years the man behind college football scheduling was Dan Shoemaker at ESPN. And a Marshall Grad. He told me and a few others at an event that if and when CUSA left ESPN that it would be their downfall. He was right.

ESPN just tried to kill them off. I doubt they go all in with anything ESPN related from both sides...

My point. I think some may be angry the question came from a school that is leaving or perhaps they don’t realize what espn did to the conference in helping select departing schools. I’m just curious as to what of Kate will be used, bc I don’t think it will be espn, which is a huge reason I though WKY and MT needed the MAC (not northern teams), but to be seen by recruits.

Eagle and a couple of other sbc bound fans are on an inflated ego trip. They seem to feel that if they can take enough digs at their former conference mates it makes their chests swell and they become even more important, at least in their own minds. They are on more than this board doing their best to take shots at cusa.

No thanks to Southern Miss' president for helping hold the scissors.
I'd say the TV deal will be Twitch, Facebook Live, and Stadium for higher-tier games.

Maybe C-USA could do what the Big Sky did before and contract with Pluto TV. Or maybe Xumo. Take your pick.

EDIT: Serious answer: try to get on a streaming platform. It can be ESPN+, Paramount+, or Peacock (ugh). If not these, then I'd explore Pluto TV or Xumo.

My thoughts too, to both posts: espn would be the best option but that seems extremely unlikely at this point. Who knows though, anything can happen.

Since we have Liberty now, maybe FOX News. UTEP maybe on Telemundo?
