That meeting she had with the Arkansas consultant paying dividends early.
Oh yeah? Instead of departing teams somehow managing to vote to dissolve the conference, the most obvious potential outcome happened instead?
Alabama and Texas are really over-saturated with FBS teams. Sam and Jax have real low ceilings.
WKU and MTSU still leaving right?

This has been said a million times, but departing members don't get a vote in conference matters after they declare they are leaving.

If everybody leaves, who gets to vote?

Yea, I know, somehow you still wind up needing to tell people.
If JSU is joining, I would think Eastern Kentucky isn't too far behind. Would Chattanooga also join to build a solid east division? Also gotta think another TX school (ACU or SFA) for the west to get to 10 assuming Missouri St. is out and MT/WKU to the MAC.
It was inevitable, but still a very sad day for CUSA.
The Liberty add is a good one, though.

If they prefer UTEP and NMSU then God help them. Their gone unless their ticket is invalidated.
Keep the momentum: go after NDSU, SDSU, MoSU, and IlSU
I assume this means WKU and MTSU are leaving. If so, they are up to 7 members. They still need one more all sports member. Who could it be?
I think if it weren't for the "bad touching" problems that broke out about Liberty, they wouldn't be getting them. Unless of course Liberty was begging to join CUSA prior to all this, which I doubt.
CUSA needs 1 more team -- who would that be? I doubt anyone from the Missouri Valley Conference would want to jump-ship into CUSA.

It would be very funny if CUSA responded to the anticipated MTSU/WKU moves by creating new in-state FBS recruiting competition for both. Wouldn't stop decision that the two ultimately make, but still funny.
Say a quick prayer for Ted Gumbart. Shattered dreams and a mid-life crisis are not a good combo.
