People have been saying ESPN will increase the money to $2M per team and as many linear TV games as the AAC.

Would the increase in TV games apply to men's hoops as well?

If it applies to basketball maybe we can get better opponents in out of conference scheduling.

Not sure what goes into basketball scheduling but it is atrocious.

USM basketball tried that in 2019-20 and it didn't work out. Some of our OOC opponents were Iowa St, Gonzaga, Seton Hall, Alabama and Texas Tech.

On the flip side our OOC schedule the past few years have included Sun Belt members USA, ULM, Louisiana, Troy and Georgia St so we will have to look for replacements for those games in 2023-24.
