A waved off goal has to be clear, incontestable and held to the higher standard than a judgement call penalty. In my view that standard was not met by the video and pics I saw, I thought the officials gave the benefit of the doubt to the objecting UM coaches. That should never be considered in a game-determining situation like that.
It's done, and we move on. The Wolverines recognize that WMU outplayed them this weekend-despite what the officials weighed-in on.
