AM was an awesome coach but it was time for a change and personally i think it couldn’t have come at a better time.
Fersch has these guys playing at an unbelievable level already and it’s game 4 of the season.
They played the same physical, structured style of hockey that Murray would have used.....which is why they won that game. But in the third period, our forwards started to get a little loose, which in a close game vs a quick/skilled team can bite them in the butt.
Looks like tonight's game is sold out, hopefully not too may UM fans. Lawson will be rocking!

I love the new CC arena. I’d much rather see Western renovate Lawson or build a “new Lawson” vs building a new downtown arena that would be half empty for Broncos games.

CC new rink is real nice, fan sized correctly, now a NHL size and most importantly, on campus now. Look for CC to make some strong inroads in recruiting over the next couple of years and restore their national presence.
Moving WMU hockey off campus would be a huge mistake. But Lawson upgrades are long over do. At some point, renovation upgrades would push the costs of new and there are some limitations to renovating.
Man, Wisconsin sucks. Back to the usual underachieving for the Badgers.
