UCF is about to get slaughtered.
Going to be a tough BB league for sure. UCF has been building program up for a while, but still has a long ways to go. The challenge is real.
It’s still #1 according to all the computer rankings
There are definitely a lot of schools in the future Big XII that genuinely care about basketball. I think that it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Yes, you have an upper tier of:

Kansas
Baylor
West Virginia

Then a second tier of:

Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
Houston
Cincinnati
Iowa State
BYU
Kansas State

And a third tier of:
TCU
UCF

At least, that’s how I see it. But that’s a very very solid lineup of schools, as even the perceived bottom feeders are solid programs at the moment.
Going to be interesting times

Yep, TCU and UCF are definitely outliers on the low end; however, still well above average basketball teams on a national level. TCU has routinely won nearly all of their OOC games, only to still finish near the bottom of the Big 12 each year.
Bring in Memphis one of these days and watch out. I think Penny Hardaway will eventually get that program rolling. Sometimes it's tough to get a bunch of blue chip Prima Donnas to play as a team, however.

Both Memphis and Colorado State (the two schools I prefer if we expand more), have pretty good basketball programs right now, so that would make it a really crazy good conference for hoops, even more so than already.
