Does anyone know if the phrase Tiger High is banned on the AAC board?
It is not

Cool it was profanity filtered on the CUSA board in the way back time. I’m 9 years out of date on my Memphis smack.

Tiger High was well out of date even 9 years ago.

It pissed them off enough to prevent its use and that in itself made it relevant at the time

Oh please! Even many Memphians still call it Tiger High.
For UAB fans 35 and under, we just know them as the team that consistently kicked our ass.

In which sport? Not football

From 10-14-2000 thru 10-7-2006 UAB Football had a seven game winning streak over Memphis. Tommy West, the Memphis Head Coach, was praying for Dan Burks to graduate.

If you just turned 35...you, at best, got to experience two or three of those years as a student or graduate of UAB. A little big younger and you got a couple early Battle for the Bones wins (if you even went to football games during that era...only 9000 fans saw that last Memphis/UAB football game). The vast majority of the rest of that group either experienced a Memphis that dominated us in basketball every year or don't really have a real experience with a Memphis rivalry at all.

If you had to ask then it's obvious you're not a UAB basketball fan.

Against the remaining 8 AAC +5 other CUSA teams moving in, Memphis makes up 31% of our losses to these teams in MBB. We are 176-127 (58.1%) with Memphis. We are 165-88 (65.2%) without Memphis.

Winning records against SMU, UNT, ECU, South Florida, Tulane, UTSA, Tulsa, Charlotte, FAU, and Rice.

Losing records against Temple (4 games played), Memphis (50 games played), and Wichita State (4 games played).

For the record, the only current CUSA team we have a losing record against is La. Tech where we are 8-9. We are 5-5 against FIU (which is horrendous).

Both of these will change before we leave C-USA.

Lifelong fans know, Memphis hoops owns us. UAB football owns them. Let’s get our Bones back. Memphis hoops was doing a hella lot of cheating during the last decade or so that we shared a conference with them. Some of that going on now.

Didn’t they vacate their national championship appearance season? Lots of vacated stuff in the 80s

Let MemphisBlazer back on, to talk his sh**

FIU comes in at 309 preseason. We need to fix this!
Diaz was a good player. Those F_U games gave us opportunity to take games off late in the reg season as we knew at-large bid wasn’t happening, but we likely played our way out of or into the NIT a time or 2 as well.
