Seeing Appalachian lose to hapless Miami and struggle against a Marshall that lost to Middle Tennessee and barely beat Old Dominion is starting to make sense. I think Appalachian getting blown out by the Cajuns also hurts Georgia State.

App State stinks

Would not be surprised to see UNT beat Marshall this Friday. This game tonight supports that prediction.

I would actually be concerned about Coastal Carolina too. They haven't played anyone good. Their biggest win of the season was a narrow 3-point win against Buffalo, who is currently in last place overall in the MAC.

Good point. The whole SBC is probably subpar.

They have Appalachian State next Wednesday night--a much anticipated match-up for Coastal that has now been soiled by Appalachian's blow-out loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. I still wouldn't be shocked if Appalachian won that one.

Yeah man. Didn’t you know? We are all total trash not worthy of being allowed to exist. In fact every SBC school is now in the process of either moving to fcs or shutting down completely. Just ask A41. You really need to keep up with things.

Hey, Coastal Carolina is the only school I know of that has played three legitimate ESPN Bottom 10 opponents six games into the season. If you want respect, then beat someone that is actually worth a damn instead of the s*** you guys have been beating. Until then, quit your b****ing.

I've said for quite some time that I think ULL is the cream of the crop in the SBC this year. AppSt is way down. Playing cupcake schedules doesn't prepare you to play good teams. The same goes for Coastal. They may be as good as Georgia but since they've only played middle school teams, it's hard to tell. ULL put AppSt in their place last night. Congrats on the beatdown.

I think it was an exhibition testing proposed new rules. I think the game had gender fluid referees.

Tell that to Coastal then. I’m confused as to how App or Louisiana has a soft schedule. You realize these schedules are put together years in advance? Texas, Ohio & Liberty are not historical cupcakes. At the end of the day just look at the SBC/CUSA head to head and/or OOC records…not even close! CUSA is behind the MAC! But to suggest that App or Louisiana are not top flight G5 programs is laughable!

What? A41 has us moved up to the P5, based on his little icon. It only shows a G4, and we’re not an FCS, so he done moved us to the P6! No other way to look at it.
