...I think Aresco is looking to grab the top remaining Texas schools before the MWC can offer them... but if those schools get pilfered by someone, and of course UAB, Marshall, and perhaps FAU are also gone to the AAC, and USM appears to be heading to the Belt with ...La.Tech, maybe? (lots of bad blood there with the other LA schools) ...and finally, WKU and MTSU to the MAC (which makes pretty good sense) - that will pretty much take care of C-USA.

...the scuttlebutt on other boards is that USM and Marshall are 'actively engaging' (or something like that) the Sun Belt -of course they have to be invited, but I would think the Belt would welcome those two in pretty easy. There is also some talk of ODU/James Madison/Charlotte mix in addition to the Belt... I think it's the AAC with us, as we are still #1 on the general AAC realignment scuttlebutt (yeah, that's a word I use every day
)
The biggest problem in the whole concept is that you’re stuck with more dogcrap BB teams
I’m sure everyone has read the rumor this week that Charlotte may be picked up when we join or soon after.
