Akron's making a statement to get out of the basement -- new QB?!
Somebody gave them a new book called Offense for Dummies.

Is there one that's "QB play for dummies"? Thankful for our win against Toledo but the QB play in that game, through the air anyway, was hard to watch.
MAC West is 3-1 vs. MAC East after CMU and EMU beat their East division opponents today.
Funny. Who would have predicted that after 2 games, NIU is on top at 2 - 0 and the rest of the division are all tied at 1 - 1?

No one did lol. Everyone predicted NIU last. This team is young and could be good for a while. If we could get Lombardi and the pass game going our offense would be hard to stop.

Tbh, IF we are denied a trip to Detroit again, I hope we get mathematically eliminated before that windy, cold, soggy trip to DeKalb during Thanksgiving week again. We never seem to come out of that place with a W.

I'm sure you guys will be fine. CMU always trips us up no matter what. They're the monkey on our back. It used to be Toledo.
Well, we always expect Toledo to be tough. But I think our monkey is Ball State. We shall see.

This looks to be shaping up to be a typical MAC West race. Wide open and will be decided on the final day. See you guys in DeKalb.

Naw. It would be fitting that if we fell just short again, that it be in the most miserable wind tunnel in the MAC. Especially if it is raining. If the team can't overcome adversity, they don't deserve to be Champions. All Championship teams overcome adversity. Just another challenge.
