So many fair weather UCF fans have already jumped off the bandwagon for this season. Sad state of affairs within the UCF fan base.

Hopefully some of our injured players are feeling better.

Injured Starters:
QB Dillon Gabriel
RB Isaiah Bowser
WR Jaylon Robinson
LB Tatum Bethune
DL Ricky Barber
DB Corey Thornton
This will be a very interesting test for the Pirates. No doubt we have improved as a program and putting in some nice growth recently. The question now is at what level they are ready to compete after putting some wins together. UCF for years gauged their growth as a program in how well they could compete against ECU. That's documented in O'Leary's comments numerous times and we aided their growth as a program. Now the shoe is on the other foot. We will learn a lot tomorrow night. I'm not talking about winning or losing, but competing as the Pirates have done for years. That swagger combined with discipline to achieve competitiveness on the field. Go AAC!! Go Pirates!!
First time I've even given serious thought that we could beat UCF since Scotty Mo and Frost's first season in 2016.
ECU wins this one going away.

Shhhh …Don’t jinx us. The football gods are listening.

You could make a lot of money if you believe that.

Hoping for a good game and would love nothing more than taking them down at their place.
I have no expectations one way or the other for this game. If none of the injured are back, I expect we play tough and run out of steam late.
Really would like this one badly but feel like it’s a UCF 28 - ECU 17 kinda game
With all of UCF’s injuries and the road confidence we hopefully gained coming from behind at Marshall, I have a good feeling about this game.

But I could also see us having a couple of quarters where we can’t seem to pick up a first down.

So, I have no clue.
I don’t have a clue either, but the UCF homer in me keeps whispering 38-34 good guys.
Experts say ECU has a 50 - 50 chance of winning, though there's only a 10 percent chance of that.

Veiled preemptive excuse post
this game is interesting becuase 1 fnabase or another is about to collapse

if ucf losses to ecu the guz train is over..the fans will turn on him..

ecu fans for the 1st time in 8 years feel like they are actually good.. some have hinted at the notion of a conference title game.. a loss kills the dream,

If the ECU fanbase hasnt collapsed so far they wont. UCF fans though, they just go pull for daddy Florida when things get tough

No conference title game this year but a definit possibility next year. Too many young guns getting their feet wet this year.
