Hopefully #8 WKU can pull off an upset this week after losing by 3 and 2 against a 4-0 Army and Big 10 Indiana that was ranked preseason.

I think FAU and UTEP should switch places due to FAU's one quality victory (GaSo)

4. LaTech - same as WKU....played two good teams to the wire but the 4th Quarter is a question.

You’re logic is backwards. You should have UAB- until someone beats them in C-USA because it’s C-USA rankings.

You’re logic is backwards. You should have UAB- until someone beats them in C-USA because it’s C-USA rankings.

Since only 6 of 14 teams have played a conference game, I guess the rankings will be useless.

why would you have a power ranking on conference games only 4 games into the season when most schools havent played their first?

3. UAB (aside from the GA clobbering, they have done well, thus far)

4. Charlotte (they beat a P5 team)
5. LaTech (close to beating a P5 team, but unreliable D)
6. Marshall (Marshall is Marshall)

7. FAU (We are only ahead of the schools below us on promise and talent. We haven't proven that we are any good, at this point)

10. ODU (entirely on strength of their almost comeback against Buffalo)

13. Rice (a bit of a disappointment. They need to prove to me that their improvement is real)

1. LA Tech - Because I said so. Two very freak plays from 4-0.
2. UTSA - Are 4-0. With big time wins over Illinois and Memphis
3. UAB - Good wins over Tulane & UNT
4. WKU - Really good offensive numbers against good competition.
5. FAU - Big win over GSU, but big loss to Air Force. CUSA's Jekyll & Hyde
6. Charlotte - Seems to be up one week and down the next.
7. Marshall - Struggled the last two weeks against ECU & Appy
8. UNT - QB issues need to get resolved
9. MTSU - Lost to Charlotte by 3 pts
10. UTEP - Appear to be much better than in years past
11. USM - Two Sunbelt losses to date doesn't help
12. Rice - Blown out by UT, Houston & Arkansas. Hard to gauge at this point
13. FIU - The only win is over somebody named "LIU". I don't even know who that is
14. ODU - Played Buffalo tough. Another one like that, and the Monarchs may move up
