Thunder and lightning!

What a 1-2 punch. The cowboys run game is on FIRE. 04-nuke

Both guys look amazing, the cowboys offense is clicking on all cylinders.
Cowboys look really good.

Disclaimer - my team is not in the NFC and I neither like nor dislike Dallas.
Pollard has become a big part of Dallas offense and special teams.
Ezekiel Elliot was just laying the lumber on guys in that game. He is one of the hardest hitting backs I have ever seen, he is more physical now that ever. Every single play he put a defender flat on his back.

Just as the defenders are getting set for that hard hitting power game, here comes Tony Pollard just exploding past them like a bolt of lightning.

Pollard just looks SO FAST next to NFL defenses. He looks like a threat to take it to the house on every touch. And you can tell the defense senses it and knows to get him down FAST before he gets into the open field.

What a nightmare combo for a defense.
Dak has come a long way & made a believer out of me. What he is doing coming off the injury is crazy. The running game is taking pressure off him and letting him excel in passing game. They have weapons everywhere and Gallup will be back soon. Moore has improved tremendously as a play caller. You cant ever stop scoring in this league or it'll bite ya. Saw it countless times w/ Garrett where they'd go conservative. I mostly love seeing Pollard. Its just awesome to see a Memphis Tiger being a solid contributor for the Cowboys. Lotta season left and things can turn on a dime in the NFL, but right now, they look as solid of an all around team as Dallas has had in years. Balanced O, dominant OL, and a defense that is forcing TOs and getting stops. Zerline scares me a little and McCarthy has 1 or 2 WTF moments every game, usually in clock management.
Cowboys will likely find some way to screw it up.

I am tired of being teased...

Every year we seem to be on the cusp...Then it falls apart.

Since the Landry era...
They looked great again last night. Zeke was also great for my DFS team.
The problem with several of the more vocal fans on this is its win the superbowl or the entire season is complete failure and they are the worst franchise in the history of organized sports. Its the most radical extremes and nothing else. There is literally ZERO gray area or inbetwween, its the superbowl or they are total trash and you knew they were trash all along.

The reality is the cowboys will likely NOT win the SB this year not should they be expected to. They are coming off a 6-10 season with the worst defense in the history of the franchise and a QB coming off a major injury. In no reality should they be favored or expected to win a SB in this situation.

What is a great season for this team is dominate their crappy division, win 11+ games and win a playoff game depending on who they are matched up with and where. Get the defense turned around and play like an elite offense all year long. Maybe if they are really lucky fall into some real magic in the playoffs. The cold hard truth is luck plays a big role in the playoffs.

That is a reasonable, sober and realistic view of their situation. But this is the Dallas Cowboys and there is never a realistic view or expectation of this team. For most of the more vocal fans, if they don't win the superbowl the team and franchise are utter failures and losers on every level.

The reality is the cowboys are doing pretty good. They clearly made some good offseason moves with the staff and player personal, they put together another solid draft and are clearly taking several strong steps forward right now.

But the other sober reality is this is the NFL and nearly every team in the league is just one or two key injuries away from limping through the rest of the season. But as long a Dak and most of the O line is healthy, they should thrive most of the year. And they should be one of the more fun teams to watch all year long. They are not the #1 team in the NFC but they are really good, the offense is nearly unstoppable and they can beat anyone.

25 years speaking of the JJ futility. I don't go back quite 50, but I do go back to Robert Newhouse TD pass in the Super Bowl. 1977-1996 pretty good two decades to be a Cowboys fan.
All I know is I’m enjoying seeing so many impact players from our Tigers in the NFL.
Pollard with another solid game today. They ran all over Carolina’s previously ranked #1 rush D.

AG had a good day for the Redskins too
KENNY GEE did pretty well for the eagles
Henderson had over 100 yards total offense even though Rams got their asses kicked
Totals:
Gainwell: rushing 3-31 TD, receiving 5-58, total 89 yards TD
Gipson: rushing 14-63 TD, receiving 2-12, total 75 yards TD
Henderson: rushing 14-89, receiving 5-27, total 116 yards
Pollard: rushing 10-67, Total 67 yards
