Telly Savalas?

I think these are the stars of CBS television series, ~1977. But it might be something else.

His aura of masculine power & authority would definitely be considered “toxic” by a lot of people today. But God knows we need more of it.
Wow Kaptain Kangaroo even made the picture!
Lassie on the front row.
I remember all of them...and lookee there, even Liberal Chris Wallaces' dad is in there.

In those days it was okay to be patriotic, how I miss those days.
Lucille Ball and William Conrad were the two that just stood out for me...
George Burns
Archie Bunker.
I mean the ones that had the biggest impact overall for entertainment purposes would be Hitchcock (film and tv) George Burns and Lucille (both early pioneers of radio and television). There are a few other one could include but those 3 are like giants even in that day
Nobody going to mention Andy and Gomer? Not to mention pre- McDowells John Amos?

Demond Wilson is there but somehow Red Foxx isn’t
It’s a little frighting how many I can name. George Burns was already old as hell and this was taken in 1977. I’m pretty sure that Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans are actually in there along with all the Waltons. Glen Campbell is in there because he had a variety show for a while. Ron Howard is there—-which threw me because Happy Days was rolling in 1977—-but was an ABC show....but he’s there due to his role as Opie on the Andy Griffith Show over a decade earlier. Who is the chick between Meathead and John Amos? Can’t place her at all.

Sanford & Son was on NBC. Wilson is included in this picture because CBS aired his blink-and-you-missed-it sitcom (I forget the title) that he did after Foxx quit Sanford & Son.

I didn’t recognize her, either, and after looking her up I still don’t recognize her. But her name is Lynnie Greene, and she was a cast-member for a sitcom called “On Our Own”. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075549/?re...flmg_act_8
