Yes, I believe USF is better than advertised. We have 3 losses. NC State (beat Clemson), UF (lost to Bama by 1) and BYU… who will all be ranked in the top 25 this week.

I saw so much in our 8 point loss to BYU that I actually have hope for winning several games this season.

Doesn’t matter we will find out in next couple of months where they really rank once we start playing each other. I will say very few teams in AAC would be better than 1-3 with USF’s schedule.

So your list is a prediction, based on good losses. That’s fine, but to me the point of this ranking is based on performance. To date, not much distinguishes USF from any other bottom 6 team.

Middle of pack. Every team in this conference would be 1-3 with our schedule except maybe Cincinnati. If you watched the BYU game there’s no way in heck we’re last or almost last. I watched the entire game.

Yeah I hope it was a learning experience to not take anyone lightly. After halftime, I was really hope we’d get it together and have a 28-0 second half. Still ended up disappointed.

I think the team has a motivation problem. Play like garbage until you’re down 17 to Marshall, then make a run to win. Get down 0-14 to an FCS team, score 24 unanswered to get back ahead, poo the bed until it’s close again, then do just enough to win.

Once we start playing better teams in conference, we’re not going to be able to fight our way back.

Shorter version: Tulane should be ahead of us in the rankings.
