Anyone know when they’ll open the available Season Ticket seats for individual game purchase? Many of my friends (secondary UAB fans) have started buying their tickets for the game. One friend today wanted to purchase in seats 124/125/126 but it appears to be sold out… unless you select purchase season tickets and then seats in those sections are available. At this point, if feel like anyone who wanted season tickets would have already gotten them. When you look at season plus individual seats, it still looks like a good number of tickets remaining.

Will they ever? I don't think premium seats will ever be sold on a game by game basis. If so, what is the advantage of paying the premium and buying seasons?

Blazers win this weekend and they sell a few more. Everyone has a great experience on 10/2 and they sell a few more. Revenue is what drives the bus.
If we save some for the walkup crowd and they may become interested in keeping those great seats. Game day decision of $50 seats inside the 30 yard lines or $20 seats in the end zones. Some people will opt for the "premium experience" and thus more revenue. We may have our biggest crowd of the year vs Liberty but we will hopefully sell more season tix thru out the season.

It is. They have sold over 3,000 tickets in the last 10 days.

I hope we have a great group ticket turnout for Liberty with churches, youth teams, companies, etc. Those kinds of events can create lots of new fans at Protective.

Hopefully we have a good student turnout to fill up their portion of the stadium. The students cover 9 sections which seems pretty big, although none of those sections have as many seats as a sideline section since it's in the corner and end zone above the field club. Only the band is in one of the sideline sections.

Didn't student ticketing start this week? Any word on how that is going?

If we get 35,000+ at the game I will be absolutely thrilled. I can't wait to see what that atmosphere will be like in a stadium like this either.

Me either. The lower bowl seats look like they're close to the field (no more walking track between the stands and field) so should be able to create a good atmosphere.

As of noon on 9/27, there are 9,597 tickets remaining. 3,381 of those are currently reserved for season ticket sales (some tickets have been released for single game sales over the weekend).

Can we get those last 10k sold?

I know a lot of people who say they are going that have yet to purchase a ticket. They are not UAB fans and the perception is they can just get them at the gate like at Legion field. I have tried to tell them that may not be possible and try to get them before hand.
