A big part of it is that vaccines do not prevent you from catching an illness, they allow your body to fight it better once you have it. The goal with the vaccines is to effectively turn COVID into a common cold-type illness due to the vaccine helping everybody fight it off better. It WILL allow some more people to pre-emptively fight it off and also prevent further mutations, just isn't the case for EVERYBODY.

They told you from day 1 there would be breakthrough cases. That's the point of the "95% effective" statements. 5% of 150,000,000 shots is still 7,500,000 positives

The vaccine will likely cause more mutations, not prevent them. The only thing the vaccine does is help prevent severe illness for the vulnerable. The vaccinated are still carrying and passing on the virus. Natural immunity will also lead to the virus becoming more like a mild cold. According to study out of Israel, natural immunity is 17 times greater than the vaccine. If anyone already had Covid, there is absolutely no reason to get the vaccine. There is also no reason for healthy children to get the vaccine, it is less lethal than the flu to them statistically.

I know Moderna is getting more hype these days, but my hometown vaccine stood tall in the literal face of Covid, stuffing it at the goal line like Spillane on Derrick Henry. Like Spillane at Northwestern. Like Spillane in the MAC Championship...just shutting it down. FACE TO FREAKING FACE for hours!!! BOOM!!!!

If WMU can pay Lester what they do, surely they can make sure he didn't have to settle for J&J.

I miss the old days where a breakthrough case was Coach Fleck through an Idaho ceiling tile.

I would have no confidence with Lou for halftime adjustments if team comes out flat. Hopefully offensive game plan is well installed “online” with Tim.
