Another stupid article, anyone that thinks the BigEast would have stayed intact if it had added TCU and UCF earlier doesn’t understand how realignment works. To think WV,Pitt,Cuse and TCU wouldn’t have bailed for ACC or Big12 had that happened is well stupid .

I mean for $14 million a team they may not have had much of a reason.

Cuse and Pitt wanted to go to ACC from the get go. Is the same conundrum you guys will find in Big12, the Leftovers would rather go to other conferences than stay with the newcomers. No matter how well you perform they are going to see themselves as belonging with those other schools.

I guess we will never know because USF screwed it up.

LOL. Sure USF could tell the BigEast schools what to do. That’s pretty funny.

Ok man if you really believe that USF that was a late addition to BigEast, only after BC left and that the basketball C7 held their nose to add because our basketball was slightly better than UCF’s would then have the power to KO a billion dollar tv deal for the conference. If you really believe USF had that power, I got some land south of the Tamiami Trail for sale for you.

Quick Summary, UCF built a stadium and did well so everyone should follow that model.

According to chrome find in page...

Mentions:
UCF: 14
USF: 12
Temple: 9
Memphis: 7
Yes, an on campus stadium for Temple would be a huge plus for the program. It would improve recruiting and indicate the University’s commitment to football and athletics. It would improve student and alumni engagement with campus. A UCF type stadium would go a long way and be a less expensive option than steel, masonry and concrete.
Why hasn’t it happened?
1.Neighborhood and political resistance.
2. Small but loud anti-athletics students (stadium stompers)
3. Lack of institutional fortitude (see 1 & 2)
4. Local journalistic antagonism towards Temple football (many reporters believe Temple should stick to rowing and basketball, since football is covered by psu and the Eagles)
These are not insignificant obstacles. Additionally, Temples urban campus offers design and construction difficulties. However, Temple faced similar obstacles when they built the Liacoras Center for basketball. Maybe our new president, who among other accomplishments was an athlete at Stanford, will be a proponent.

Wow. If you re-wrote that post, and changed out Memphis for each instance of Temple, the post would be just as true. We are in the same boat. Exactly.
As an ECU fan I can definitely say having a good stadium is not the "ticket to moving up"

Stop with the facts man. Can't you see that usf has built this wall of self delusion around them?

I mean I’m a Houston fan I’m glad USF did what it did. If they had made different decisions there is a very good chance Houston doesn’t get that big 12 invite.

So I’m truly just pointing out what I see.

NO were just not stupid enough to be ucf fans who believe a 25 year old program should have everything a much older program has.

We already are building a IPF before UCF ever did and have $20 million toward a stadium we expect to be in for the 2025/26 season... which is fast than UCF did, but ya man... let stop with facts.

What evidence is that? McMurphy reporting it and a few others repeating his garbage.
Honestly I don’t care if you want to believe that drivel or not. I don’t need to prove anything, I was pointing out how irrational the point is. But at the end is water under the bridge. I rather focus on 5he now.

Just more stupid **** UCF fans spewing lies and being ******** in every thread.

I’ve never seen a program get everything they want and then still act like petulant children with inferiority complex.

(And ya, I am a psychologist and can diagnose this… not even joking)
