Cinci is now a lock for championship. We lost a lot to injuries at Louisville and don't have the depth to make a run. Now you other teams need to make some noise and have fun because our entertainment value for at least the next 6 weeks is going to be low. Can't believe how many guys got hurt at Louisville. It's our fault for not having depth. Bowser going down in the 1st quarter pretty much sealed our fate.
I think we still will have a winning season, but after losing 6 starters last night, No way we go more than 9-3, and that may be a stretch.
Great news for SMU! 02-13-banana
Yall lost 6 starters in one game?

Good grief. That's like an entire years worth of injuries in one week.

At this point, Im just hoping for bowl eligibility.
Hate to see the injuries but from what I saw in that Boise game and what I watched last night, UCF didn’t look like UCF this year. The defense isn’t very good and that offense now looks like it’s primarily about dinks and dunks. Coaching changes are hard.

What is the status of Bowser. Saw he left the game with an injury early.
Doug Gabriel
Isiah Bowzer
Jaylon Robinson
Tatum Bethum
Cory Thorton
Ricky Barber

I think we just went from a potentially special year to a lot of people gaining major playing time. Hopefully some of these injuries won't keep them out for long..

That's a bit strong. Are you going to pull a Houston and redshirt the entire team after 2-1?
Gus bus already in the shop.

Week 3

Now you get it.

What is the quality of QB depth? It may be a manageable situation, especially if some of the injured return quickly.

UCF is always full of melodrama

Seriously. They are sounding like Houston fans when they were complaining about 7-8 win seasons, not knowing they were staring down the barrel of 3-4 win seasons.
I didn't know UCF was even supposed to be challenging Cincy this year. I must've been out the loop. Either way tough loss hate to see it hope everything ends well for you with player depth. The Louisville loss must feel like the tech loss as both are crappy teams. UCF is still good to win games though.
Relax, you will still have a good year. One loss can be recovered from, despite the injuries.

Geez. The league didnt need that. I see some guys hammering the coach over depth---but over 50% of a starting unit in a single game is going to be a pretty tough blow for any team to take.
You never know who steps in and takes advantage of their opportunity. UCF should have plenty of good, talented depth - at most positions - qb is different though - if the back up can't perform then yeah, that can be cascading trouble as your defense stays on 5he field waaaaay too much.

I remember several years ago when we lost 2 QBs in our 1st game and played the rest of the season with our 3rd stringer.

Thanks. Most UCF fans can’t seem to wrap their heads around the fact that losses happen.
That's because your team either wins every game or loses every game. Sorry about your season !!
