statement game for the Wave. ECU is 0-2 but Tulane hasn't defeated ECU since 1997 and ECU is a really tough place to play.

I can see twot things happening in this game.

1. ECU comes out hungry after losing to two lower ACC teams (Duke and Wake).

2. ECU gives up and Tulane cruises

I hope 2 is the case.
Right off the bat, I have to think East Carolina is showing signs of a team in a rebuilding year. They are starting over fresh with a new QB, just like Tulane and Houston, and as well as at RB, and Henry was their main force last year. They're supposed to have a solid offensive line, but that might be about it. I don't think they have the receivers, and they may have some questions about their defense.

I agree with Fogel, ECU is rebuilding this season and it could be a really long year.

I see Tulane pulling out a close game...something like 21-16 or 27-23.
Tulane is the better team right now, whether or not that = a win is yet to be seen. You have to understand that the win over Houston was Tulane's 1st conference road win since 1998 and since this game is in Greenville I'm not getting too excited yet. I did predict Tulane to win though on my site... FW's Site .
