Yes or no.

The other question is will TG4E receive another warning for asking such a question but that's more of a rhetorical question not really requiring an answer...

I'm not really trying to antagonize the mods here because the ones I know are good dudes trying to herd cats but I think it's a fair question to ask.
I don't really think so and as a serial abuser I understand the desire to have us maintain at least a degree of civility and decorum here but it seems this is kind of how these things start.
There is at least one mod on here that doesn't grasp their role and acts as the thought police.
I would hardly call their actions Woke.

This board is no different than any other "open forums" but the vitriol and openly obnoxious trolling has escalated quite a bit in the last 24 months. There is a 120+ page thread on Arizona Elections that is little more than "They Cheated... No they didn't". Even with the ignore function, that thread is hard to read.

I find myself getting into the back and forth because it is maddening to read some of the stuff and once you start it, it is really hard to stop. Recently I have tried really hard to not respond to the couple of trolls out there - like Danforth to name the most obvious of them right now. His sole purpose is to antagonize and I am sure he/she/xe laughs every time there are any responses. There is not one post of substance that comes from Danforth - not one.

The mods are trying to reign that in - that is not "Going Woke", that is just trying to maintain / restore some sanity.

PS: I love a good troll and sarcasm, but there is a line and that has been erased lately.

Wholeheartedly agree.
If you have an issue with a moderator or a moderation action:

Step 1) PM that moderator and try to resolve it with them.
Step 2) If you can't resolve it with the moderator in question, elevate it to a super mod or admin.
Step 3) The last step, not the first, take it to GTS.

Also:

Every post has a little button on the bottom right side with the image of a rocket and the word Report beside it. Use this to report a post you feel violates the AUP. Please be specific about what violation of the AUP you are invoking as moderators aren't mind readers.

If you quote something in a post that you also reported as well moderators have to assume you agree with it being a valid post as you have voluntarily propagated it. In addition, if a post gets reported by someone else and you quoted it in your posts then your posts will also disappear if the moderator decides action is needed.

As a reminder, discussing moderation issues on the public forums is a violation of the Site AUP.
