If it goes that way then WKU and Louisiana Tech will be a good base to build from. However, I seriously doubt that CUSA teams will pay the exit fee to play on Tuesday and Wednesday night verse Sunbelt teams. If they're stupid enough to do that, then good riddance.

Well, first the cusa media sucks in comparison to the SBC’s. Everyone knows that is the case, including the majority of cusa fans on this board. Secondly, there are a whole lot of other reasons why the SBC would be better for several cusa schools, like the geographical footprint, leadership, etc. I don’t need to list them all or go into detail about them as there ready plenty threads on this board alone that do a very good job of doing that.

You can always count on FrankyP/LaCajunsFan to bend the truth. I think we can all agree that we're Bobcats fans this week. Hopefully, Ohio will get the W this
THURSDAY.
Yep, that's the correct day; Thursday. Get used to those Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday games any CUSA teams thinking of jumping to the Suckbelt.
Oh Deb, Deb, Deb. Don’t you ever change now, please.
The truth is I just want away from the Texas teams. Don’t hate them or anything, just will always feel disjointed. We haven’t even played UTEP in 11-12 years. 14 teams are just too many, especially with the geography.

I PROMISE you, Marshall will accept an invite to the AAC or the Sunbelt by the end of September. UAB, USM and ODU (to my disdain) are also reportedly tied to us, being sold as a package deal, aka we're going to the sunbelt or the AAC together. IMO either conference those schools join will end up being the better league between the two.

Oh LaCajunsFan, LaCajunsFan, LaCajunsFan. Don't you ever change now please. Surprised you're still able to post over here after being IP banned. By the way; did you enjoy posting on BleedTechBlue during their free promotion sign up period? You can tell exactly who you are by the way you post. Nobody else has the same kind of hatred of Tech that you do.

Leave please. Tired of hearing these schools talk about it. Pay your exit fees and get the hell out please!

Lol. You sure come up with some crazy stuff there, Deb. And no I’m not LCF, or ragin4u or cajunfantico, or any other UL poster you want to try to call me. But so many of us that hate LTU it’s no wonder it’s causing you confusion. What it must be like to be in your little head. Cheers!
04-cheers04-cheers04-cheers

P.s. I would no more want to to go any LTU site than I’d like to have my eyeballs plucked out. But keep up your personal attacks. That will serve you well, believe me.

Sure thing LaCajunsFan. You post the same stupid emojs that he would post. By the way FrankyP/LaCajunsFan would neg rep any poster I would positive rep on the Sunbelt board. That's how obsessed he is with me and Louisiana Tech. It's obvious by the way he's on the CUSA board right now.

Did Marshall fans feel this way about Texas teams in CUSA 2.0?

Seeds of discord were planted in 2013, when CUSA literally bent over backwards to change it's own rules, giving Rice the home designation for the CUSA championship.

Additionally, having the base in Texas doesn't help. Keeping the CUSA basketball tournament in Denton the last few years also adds to the fuel.

Finally, our bowl lineup dramatically favors the western division. Our only P5 bowl matchup plays out west.

With that being said, none of these are tangible reasons to leave. But they pick at you, little by little.

Is that a legitimate complaint? I've heard Marshall's side of the story but not Rice's side of the story. By the way, this was the first year Tech was in CUSA so I don't remember the situation to well. Also, wasn't Banowsky the Commish during this time frame?

And the irony is, Marshall probably voted for UTEP's entry into CUSA over LA Tech's back in 2005. I guess we can now put you down for a case of "Buyers Remorse"? 03-lmfao

That's the kind of stuff a conference --any conference-- needs to think about when voting on the pretty girl of the hour.

My god, you're petty.

I think deb25 might be on to something. Marshall needs to go ahead and punch out, somewhere. Anywhere, but CUSA. You'll be happier, and the rest of us will be too.
Eh I like having Marshall in conference, I just wish we played more. I can deal with the complaints and am fine with hearing them. I know how much UAB loved Tech fans' complaints.

The AAC determines the "package" of teams although I could see those 4 schools telling the SB it's a package or bust.

Same here. I like playing pretty much everybody in conference. However, I'm fed up with hearing about certain teams wanting to leave. You want to go, then go please. Pay the exit fee and hit the road now. If there was a way for CUSA to kick these teams out and still collect the exit fees then I would do it.
