I hear we’ve added more lights at Waldo. Maybe even doubled what we had in recent years. Anybody been by for the night practices or night band practices? I thought the lights were pretty dim in 2019. Hoping to see a difference in the second half on Saturday.
Yes they added a bunch of lights. To offset the lights they used to bring in for night games. Yes they used to purchase portables for night games….

ND and MSU bring in portable lights as well. Not completely unheard of.
The lights went off twice in the 4th quarter, the 2nd time stopping play. Not sure what was up with that....

Just a lack of testing... or some guy sitting in the pressbox leaning against the wrong light switch.
Either or... it wasn't a great look. Especially when it happened and they had to stop the play.
