Wish I could be there, but I’m recovering from surgery. (No, it’s not another sex change.). I’ll be watching from home. Have a few hot dogs for me, and make sure no one sits in my seats.

Get well DF. Hope the hot dogs didn't do it to you.

Nah, I had an extendable stainless steel implant in my privates. I made sure to tell the surgeon that it had to be stainless. I do have standards, you know! Just stay away from me if you're carrying any magnets. Then again, there may be an instant attraction! 04-jawdrop

Actually, it was a hip replacement. Surgery was successful, but the recovery will take some time. Thanks for your well wishes.

Dog Fan, I have enjoyed your posts for many years (from a distance, of course) and hope all is well and your recovery returns you to Huskie Stadium very soon.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. Agreed, a lot of similarities. It should be a physical, good match. Dang, these Huskies are locked in, ready to go to war and it’s only Tuesday, lol. Gonna be fun!

PS: I have to admit I still want to beat down Wyoming (with all due respect of course) for that last game. Playing until 3:45am (our local time) in that altitude was brutal. Late start was a big home advantage. Glad we could return the favor and flip the script with an early kickoff after a long road trip in. Don’t feel like we got our due respect from Wyoming going into that game, but that’s nothing new for us. Losing that game was like salt in the wound.

I had a knee replacement a couple of years ago. Strong advice: do everything the PTs tell you to do.

Ball State's the powerhouse. I think you should look past us to that game.
Bohl is strictly a one game at a time guy. He, his staff, and the team, are giving NIU their full attention. Ball State can wait.

Hell of a game. I’m sure it won’t be any less this Saturday.

Thanks very much, HD (and my other well wishers). Surgery went well, and now it’s rehab. Still gets frustrating to walk with a walker or cane. I hope to make it to the Homecoming game. In the meantime, I am saving up some money to buy a couple dozen hot dogs whenever I get back to the stadium.

I had a knee replacement 18 years ago and I'm unhappily preparing to have revision surgery (replacing the hardware since it is worn out). I agree with the advise - do everything the PTs tell you to do.

I hope all goes well for you Dog Fan!

Speedy recovery, my friend.

I'm thinking Wyoming is better and scores 28
But NIU gets 34 for the win.

Agree.
We need to score in the 30s to win this week.
Bohl is an outstanding coach. I believe Wyoming has about 10 kids from Illinois on their roster. Gonna be a heck of a game.
Get well soon DF!
Wasn't Hammock's Press Conference today as well? Has it been posted yet?

I have to be a realist - if GT had a QB who was accurate, I’m afraid the outcome would’ve been different. IMHO, the defensive backfield is still a work in progress. Hate to say it, but Wyoming 37, NIU 24. Seriously hope I’m wrong.

The what if has more than one side. If GT had a more accurate passer and put up more points we wouldn't have gone ultra-conservative. The outcome may or may not have been different. I see a lot of room for a much more explosive offense and think the coaches will have the game plan for Wyoming that may be more diverse and creative.

Good to see the fast tempo again. Confused the GT defense quite a bit.

Gone are the Carey days of the offense running to line, then waiting, waiting, waiting......for the ball to snap.
