Ugh. Cancelled due to COVID. 3rd Tribe team to have that already this year (field hockey cancelled a game plus W Swimming had to stop training for a week)

Williamsburg James City County schools just had to quarantine their preschool program because a toddler tested positive last week. Feels like in-person schooling getting shut down is a matter of when not if at this point.
Tribe pick up a 3-0 win over St. Francis (PA). Matt Thorsheim (the grad student transfer from Bucknell) got one of the goals. First win against the Red Flash after two previous losses.
All-white looked great on the football team, too. Hope it continues with the basketball unis.
Men face Northeastern tomorrow for first CAA match.
Won last week 1-0 over GW, now 2-0 record.

Had a 4 game losing streak finally snapped by a 1-0 win (goal by PK) over CofC.
Then, Walloped by Wake 4-0.
Off next to #19 JMU on homecoming day.

Whatever happened to that kid Michael Meese from Jamestown that this board was raving about in 2019-2020? His name is not on the roster. Where did he go? Why did he change his mind?

From Google, he’s apparently now at Div. III Trinity University in Texas. As to why, your guess is as good as mine. (Apparently they’re a top tier Div. III team).

Of course, but 8 goals this early in the season shows obvious talent for a sophomore even if it is D3. Too bad.

All I can think is that something must have happened to change his plans. No idea what that might have been, and it would be wrong to randomly guess.
IMO, it's hard to be disheartened when I don't know the circumstances. Could have been our choice, his choice, or a mutual parting.
