How long are they going to keep their football program around. Edsel has the Huskies playing worse every season. I am sure they will bring him back next season after they go 2-10.

Do they have 2 games with the Little Sisters of the Poor scheduled this year?

It was definitely the AAC holding UConn back. 04-chairshot
Cant say I feel bad. Their fans always had a complex, even with how bad their football program was in the American. They’ll be playing their homecoming games against Holy Cross soon enough.
Uconn did what is best for them. I don’t think they were ever gonna really becomes dominant football team but if they were to drop down… I could see them competing.
My condolences UConn fans.
There are few things in this world funnier than uconn football

Watching Toad Graham get his butt handed to him by Chip Kelly is a very close second.
They probably should just drop football all together. Not many football athletes in Connecticut.

I know I speak for many a Husky-of-old poster here when I say that UConn football is better positioned than ever. All is well! All is well!!!

Connecticut realized years ago they could not afford to fund college football at the highest level. All they are doing now is slow walking themselves back down to D2. Look for them to try and put together some form of the Yankee Conference, with similar size schools like New Hampshire, and Vermont......Hey, but they still get to play Villanova home and home every year in basketball. "Which is nice".
Wished UConn was in USF’s schedule this year.

UConn use to be good, really good. What happened to them?

........and Providence, don't forget Providence. What school wouldn't turn their football program into essentially a club sport for the opportunity to play basketball against Providence every year?

Laugh at them, but the the Big East screwed them. The basketball schools didn't want to expand, so they "promoted" a basketball school's football team. Not UConns fault that the BE folded.

I actually feel bad for UConn. Hopefully they go back to FCS and can get the basketball on track.
