Setting the estimated win count at 6, probably a solid guess.
This is about as spot-on as an analysis can be from an outside source.
thanks for posting
Thought that was a fair assessment. Going 0-6 in the 2020 environment does not bother me in the slightest. Seems coach’s need this was the time to play almost everyone, see what we got. Feels like 7-8 wins this year to me. Hate to look to far a head, but the coming years will be exciting and believe we’re all on the same page. We’ll be back to Huskie glory soon enough!

Man do I hope you're right.

Getting my airline tickets for the home opener. We owe Wyoming back back for that horrible loss a couple of years ago.

Surprisingly so, especially for CFN.
Semi-related, but Pugh got hurt in spring ball and is out for the year

So that’s why he isn’t a team captain. What was the injury?

Man it feels like that dude is snake bit when it comes to injuries. But at this point it’s probably not bad luck but just the fact that some bodies aren’t built to withstand the physical demands of the sport.

I'm not trying to be funny saying this, but would he still have another year of eligibility?

Kyle has had some tough breaks but it seems he never gets discouraged. That is perseverance.

I feel terrible for Pugh, holy smokes
Pugh being out makes me wonder more about a couple of the guys that dropped off the roster between spring and fall. Cody Kopp and Ronde Worrells are neither listed on the roster, but both their twitter profile pictures are still NIU stuff, no mention of transferring, and Worrells was just in a video Hammock posted from the weightroom at the end of June... Are these guys really gone, or are there just some oversights on the roster??

Kopp is definitely gone. Worrels just disappeared from the roster a couple of days ago so not sure about him.

Damn. This kid has so much intensity, real sad his football potential never got realized on the field. But I know he's got a great future ahead of him, in whatever he chooses to do. He's a leader, check out Renard Cheren's Hard Way videos when Pugh first got hurt.

I think the depth is probably Rattin - Asuquo - someone else I’m sure…not really sure who you kick inside after rattin. Asuquo is a true freshman, and I know they “liked” him in the middle - but things are very fluid before you get a kid on campus.

Move tewes back in? I don’t know. Depth doesn’t feel great in the middle. I feel real good about the kids on the outside. You can always try some weird variation on the “huskie” D where your OLB’s are actually ends - and the Mike and Buck are just your Sam and Will kicked on the inside. The more I type this the more I like it in case of Rattin injury. We have 3 DTs you can use as your down linemen…this works for me. Someone call Hammock and tell him not to worry we have it figured out in case of emergency.
Judging by Hammock’s comments about the freshman LB class, I wouldn’t worry too much
