Quote:Among top candidates for Michigan State’s AD job, sources said, is Northern Illinois AD Sean Frazier, who spent 7 years as deputy AD in the Big Ten at Wisconsin before coming to NIU in 2013
Where do we send our letters of recommendation? Let's get him that job!
They won't select him. The football and basketball programs are at lows, he hasn't found sponsors for naming rights, has no new fancy facilities on his resume, etc.
Even if he is hired by MSU, it may take HR six months to process the paperwork before he could leave.

And many more months before a new one is allowed to be named.
Best of luck to STF. I’ll be praying that he gets the job.

I think he is trying to find a job where the Alumni will not beep their car horn at him.
With our luck, they will hire Ricardo Patton for the vacant AD job.
"Canned one of Izzo's favorites" is not going to look good on a résumé. Can't see MM giving him a recommend.

MM will for sure give STF a glowing recommendation....for keeping him years longer than he should have.

Sheezus. You're right. As bad as STF is, he's better than the off-brand STF our university will cheap out on.

“This guy sucks so much he’s mentioned with everyone big ten job that comes open!”
Well he did previously work @ a B10 school and is likely being referred by Barry or others within the conference he has/had ties with…. Not hating on STF but just playing devil’s advocate.

Forget the letter of recommendation. I will fill the car with gas and plug East Lansing into the GPS.

And I will give him a few bucks to stop for hot dogs along the way.

There has to be somebody out here that bought a used car from him some time in the past handful of years.
We need someone with the experience and knowledge to run an athletic department on a shoestring budget. A nice guy or gal who can relate to the common fans and donors and, by so doing, raise needed funds. Someone who is not afraid to use student interns who can help with marketing and business operations.
Why so much STF shade??? He’s good at his job, and continually works to keep NIU relevant even when we don’t deserve it. LOL. His only downfall might be how loyal he is. Might be looking for a bigger check during this pandemic. I don’t blame him.

Pet peeve of mine with STF………he changes the helmets to have NIU block letters and gets rid of the huskie. It just looks generic and to me has little marketability. There is ZERO attempt to bring back vintage logos for alternate helmet combos. To me the fighting huskie logo would be a phenomenal addition. But STF doesn’t listen to fans when they suggest something like this
