Hmmmmm. We now have nine offers out on 2022 guys. This has not been our style. We're starting to look like Bryant. Coen has a reputation of finding hidden gems. Are we muddying the waters by making multiple offers?

NU has always had anywhere between 3-6 offers a year on players via Verbal Commits.
I think to a certain extent the Coen hidden gem recruit has subsided.
NU has developed a good mid-major reputation IMO in recruiting circles.

Take a look at their Verbal Commit page. They already have almost 150 2022 offers out there. Last year they topped out at about 250.

I don’t think we’re offering everyone available if that’s what you’re saying.
I still think there’s a few we definitely don’t know about yet that NU has offered. But overall it’s not a lot compared to others. But we have offered a little more than usual.

Agreed.......and I think you can say that about some of our other offers, too. Definitely a change from past years.

Joel Smith, who is now an assistant coach on the staff, is from Texas.
Plus Coen has recruited in Texas before signing Smith and TJ Williams.
